High Pressure Units for Misting (humidification)
High pressure misting is a technology that uses fine water mist to cool the air, humidify the room, regulate humidity in storage facilities and halls, reduce dust or odor. A water is led by high pressure pipes and the fine water mist is formed in special nozzles.
Misting is based on the removal of heat during the evaporation of water. For the high efficiency of this method, it is necessary to create a very fine mist. The water is therefore pressurized to 50 - 120 bar using a high pressure pump (depending on the specific application) and then a very fine mist is reached by passing it through special nozzles.
The source of pressurized water are high pressure plunger pumps equipped with a relief valve, an outlet pressure gauge and an inlet water filter. A single-phase or three-phase electric motor is used as the drive. Misting system is mounted on mounting rails, on a steel frame or on a stainless steel base plate according to needs. Thanks to the use of a flexible coupling, the units meet all the requirements for continuous operation.
